Quantum Theory | Latest Games

Posted by Deathmetalistic Jyx on 6:46 PM

Quantum Theory is a third-person shooter game developed by Team Tachyon and published by Tecmo. This game is compatible for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 only but the PC version is currently on development. The players take the role of two characters named Syd and Filena who must fight and survive through the living tower. Quantum Theory features a cover system that constantly removes or adds cover through the tower being active. Quantum Theory's gameplay and mechanics have a similarity with Gears of War. But the biggest difference between this two game is that the inability to perform automatically move from cover to cover or swat turns. During cover, players can fire their weapons from the hip or aim down sights for more accurate firing. A single headshot through an enemy is being replayed through slow motion close up view of the target's head exploding. All the enemies explode upon death also.

Quantum Theory is set in an organic sci-fi world, in which it has only few survivors due to a catastrophic state the world war left. Life has been threatened by a black material called "Erosion", that creates a post-apocalyptic environment called Cocoon. The human survivors recruited a militia to conquer the Erosion and aiming to take down the Living Tower. On the other hand, there are no handheld grenades but the main Character of the game Syd can throw Filena (Syd's partner) as a secondary weapon, that will result to a stun, major damage or instant kill depending what kind of enemy is being hit. Syd can use his guns also as a melee weapons. While Filena can do a follow up attack when Syd throws an initial melee attack. In other levels the environment is changing dynamically, therefore there are some moving platforms that Syd must hang on to take a jump. There are Boss appearances also through the campaign which requires the players to identify the target in their weak parts.

Syd is the main Character of the game and has the only intention to destroy the Tower. Along his journey he meets Filena and they joined force together in their search for answers. The first time Syd meets Filena, he saw her fighting the Diablosis. They have been separated in the tower after dispatching the enemy and the two is engaged in a Mexican stand-off. After that happening Syd and Filena meet again and revealed their opposing quests. Felina wants to save the tower from erosion while Syd wants to destroy the tower. They both fought each other after knowing that they got different principles, but their fight is interrupted by the Diablosis. They have no choice, and in order to survive they must fight the Diablosis and the two agreed to join forces. The only reason why Filena wants to save the tower is that it is created by her father.

Bulletstorm: Vengeance is a must! | Latest Games

Posted by Deathmetalistic Jyx on 9:02 PM

Bulletstorm is one of my most anticipated first-person shooter game ever. It was developed by Epic Games and People can Fly, but it was published for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows by Electronic Arts. Bulletstorm was  released in North America on February 22, 2011, and in Europe on February 25, 2011. Bulletstrom is recognized by its harsh humor and sense of style. When the players performed massive kills they are being rewarded with points. However, the game does not have any competitive modes.

The setting of the game takes place during the 26th century, a secret black-ops army called Dead Echo is protecting the Confederation of Planets. The game's main character Grayson Hunt and his cyborg partner Ishi Sato went AWOL after they discovered that they are being set up in killing innocent civilians, because all they know is that they are killing murderers and drug dealers. Ten years later they attempted to take revenge on their commanding officer General Sarrano and his forces, but Grayson Hunt's and Ishi Sato's ship crashed and landed to a planet called Stygia. Stygia was former a resort planet but now it is ruined by meat-eating plants, criminals, giant monsters, and mutant tribes. As the result of the crash, Hunt's partner  Ishi is gravely injured, and to save him, he requires an energy cell power. Hunt's another comrade Rell goes off to find and retrieve an energy cell from a fallen escape pod. In order to preserve Ishi's brain their doctor in the ship successfully merges Ishi's brain with the ship's AI. But bandits managed to get inside their ship and killed the doctor. Hunt loosed control and shoots an explosive barrel, killing the bandits, but accidentally Rell also died with them.

Only Hunt and Ishi survived the explotion and they decided to work together in order to survive, even though Ishi is angry at Hunt for killing their other comrades in the ship most especially Rell. On the other hand the General's forces crashed on Stygia also and while Hunt and Ishi is searching for a way off the planet, they encountered them and battled to survive. Through their  journey Hunt and Ishi is joined by Trishka, a woman with a dark past. And their journey towards Sarrano starts again. The gameplay of this game is great with nice effects. For me Bulletstorm is one of the most action packed game ever created.

Crysis: Experience Sci-fi FPS on your PC | Latest Games

Posted by Deathmetalistic Jyx on 2:07 AM

Crysis is a game developed by Crytek. Set in the year 2020, Crysis is more than just an ordinary game. The story line of Crysis is, an archaeological team in Pacific island was captured by the invading North Koreans. From there the Us Special Forces team was hired to investigate and rescue the scientists. Suited with high-tech nano-suits, capable of boosting your strength, armor, and speed as well as cloaking the enemies. Parachuted in the tropical paradise with enemies ahead is something else that gives extra thrill and excitement in the game. The first half of the game will put you in the middle of incredibly large levels of tasks and objectives. How to complete this tasks and objectives is entirely up to you. Try to blast your way through the enemy lines and it's up to you on how you get through it. You can use the cloaking abilities of your nano-suit also so that the enemies won't find out that your spying around with them already.

The game features a high degree of advanced game play and visualizations. The guns and ballistics modeling makes the shooter feel as if your handling real weapons. Hitting a target with long ranges is a challenging task. Thank's to weapon recoils and other factors, it made a lot more easier to eliminate your targets one by one. The North Koreans are suited in body armor, so you have to aim their heads in order to put them on the ground. You are packed with variety of firearms, like assault rifles and shotguns. One of the great aspects
this game have is that you can fix weapon while your on the fly, adding scopes, silencers, and grenade launchers, providing that you've found them. These silencers take down North Korean guys silently, though it reduces bullet damage, meaning you've got to make your every shot count so that you can take them down easily. Flashlights mounted on your weapon is very useful in helping you get out from dark levels of the game.

Crysis gives you a lot of shooting experience. As your mission go further, the battle becomes larger and more intense action comes along your way. Your mission will not going to be that easy. It always depends on your strategies with the game. Always put your place with your character and it's going to be a lot more enjoyable. It's a tough mission but as you make your way to the enemy infantry take down your enemies and if
they're already dead, you can pick up their dropped rocket launchers and use it against them. Crysis is not just a simple mission with a single adjective in the game. Crysis can twist your gaming experience and will make your heart pump faster than normal. It will always be an awesome and challenging game to play, Crysis is also a lot more cooler and more intense to play than any other games out there.
