Call of Juarez: The Cartel | Latest Games

Call of Juarez: The Cartel is an upcoming first-person shooter game, to be released in North America this September 13, 2011 on PC. This game is developed by Techland, and was demonstrated at Penny Arcade Expo East just recently. Call of Juarez: The Cartel is set in Los Angeles and Mexico, and players take the role of 3 law enforcement agents. The story of the game begun on July 4, 2011 when DEA offices along the Mendoza Cartel has been bombed. A large gang involved in drugs and other forms of criminal activities was behind this bombing incident. This gang is handled by Juan Mendoza and his son Jesus.

An inter agency task force was formed after this bombing incident. The task force was created by Deputy Attorney General Joseph B. Reynolds, and it was automatically approved by the  President. The members of this task force are LAPD detective and Vietnam Veteran Ben McCall, Agent Eddie Guerra, and FBI Agent Kimberly Evans. After that incident at the DEA offices, Patrick Stone, a high ranking DEA agent was killed. Before that incident he left a letter to his lawyer, telling that his daughter Jessica Stone must seek Ben McCall because he's the only one who could be trusted to protect her as a state witness. During the war in Vietnam Ben McCall served Patrick Stone. One of the major antagonist in Call of Juarez: The Cartel is Alvarez, he also served Patrick Stone along with McCall during the war in Vietnam. There rivalry begun when McCall accused Alvared of killing a female civillian in Saigon. McCall's only witness, Stone, denied having any knowledge about it, that's the reason why the Military tribunal dropped the case.

On the other hand the only agent who survived the DEA bombing incident was Eddie Guerra, but he is under suspicion due to the fact that he stepped out  of the building to take a phone call and that's the reason why he survived the incident. Guerra has a secret agenda of earning some money due to his gambling problems which owes him the bookies a lot of money. Because of his gang activities, FBI Agent Kimberly Evans has been pushed to protect her eighteen year old brother Deon. Jessica Stone, daughter of Patrick Stone has been under witness protection after the bombing incident and after the task force was formed. The task force discovered that Patrick Stone found out that Alvarez is the middle man between them and their arms dealer, because Stone has been investigating Alvarez since then. The 3 members of the task force then go to Sequia National Park to frame another gang named "ARANA" by placing their tags around the blaze. After framing up Arana they searched the Rolling 50's which is a small-time gang only who deals with Arana. Due to Kim's request, McCall secured Deon by having him fetched by the LAPD for 24 hours. A large number of gangsters turn up and fired the task force after they stole the drug money and tagged it with Arana's sign. Because of it the 3 had no choice but to get out of the area before they get killed. I'm sure your going to have an all out gang war and chaos with Call of Juarez: The Cartel.

Guild Wars 2: Upcoming Fantasy RPG | Latest Games

Guild Wars 2 is an upcoming online RPG (role-playing game) still in development by ArenaNet. The game is set in the fantasy world called Tyria. There is a disbanded guild in this world who are dedicated to fight against Elder dragons, they are a Lovecraftian species that has only the control of Tyria since from the original Guild Wars. Tyria is a world that is persistent with a story that interacts in instanced environments. The game also features a story line that is responsive to player's actions and claims to be unique in terms of genre. The developers of Guild Wars 2 aims to be dynamic than it's original version by reducing the complexity of the Magic skill system and using the environment as a weapon. Aranet is developing a heavily modified version of the game engine and the game's awesome 3D graphics. By the use of the Havok physics system, Aranet enhances the graphics and animations of Guild Wars 2.

The developer is also focusing a lot with the game's concept art, this is something that will be integrated into the way of the story so that the players can easily relate about the story and plot settings of the game. There are a combination of five races and seven professions where the players can create a character. The five races include the charr and human that is introduced in Prophecies, norn and asura being introduced in Eye of the North lastly the Sylvari that is exclusive only for Guild Wars 2. The seven professions are the Elementalist, Warrior, Ranger, Necromancer, Guardian, Thief, and Engineer. The elementalist is a scholar that uses magic, based on the classical elements. These elements are earth, fire, water, and air and these elements affects and change the skill bar of the character. The earth skill of the elementalist is more on defense, fire is for effect damage, water for snares and healing, and air for single target damage. The Warrior is a soldier that can use either ranged and melee weapons. Ranged weapons can hit the opponents in direct damage while the melee
weapons can cover only a variety of roles. The warrior may also use stances, shouts, and battle standards in buffing allies themselves. On the other hand the Ranger is an adventurer that may use both ranged and melee weapons also but ranged weapons on ranger covers only variety of roles while the melee abilities can be used in quick movement defense. A Ranger can also use spirits and traps in defending an area. The ranger also has animal companions that can use different skills depending what kind is the pet exactly.


A Necromancer is a scholar that may use manipulation of death. It has a number of summonable minions, life stealing skills, and other support abilities also. The unique quality of a necromancer is a life force that builds up as deaths occur near on it, which changes necromancer's skill bar. Guardian is the second soldier that uses virtue to aid allies in combat. These virtue are subdivided into three categories: courage, justice, and resolve.
A guardian can also summon enchanted weapons, and create wards that can prevent the enemies from getting nearby. On the other hand the Thief is an adventurer which may use both and melee weapons also. The Thief is first class in using pistols, utilizes traps, shadow stepping, and a stealth assassin in terms of combat. Thief skills can also consume some of the character's ten initiative points rather than having cool downs and can use an item that is being robbed from a foe. Lastly the Engineer is an adventurer who uses variety of guns. Engineer can use either both pistols and rifles, as well as technological gadgets for*attacking the opponents. It can also equip backpack kits which allow engineer to use grenades, tools, mines and medicines. Guild Wars 2 is just like the original Guild Wars which uses skill based combat system, however unlike the original Guild Wars, skill slots have predefined roles in this second installment of the Guild Wars sequel. Guild Wars 2 is very unique from any other free game downloads out there because the game itself focuses on quality over quantity, giving the players into real RPG experience.

Brink: Reviewing This Cool FPS | Latest Games

Brink is a first-person shooter game released just recently. Brink was developed by Splash Damage and this game is compatible with Playstation 3, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox 360. The game is played by team based multiplayer missions. It has cool player characters and the nature of the game is approachable. The story plot of brink is about the battle of two sides, the Resistance and Security. The game takes place in a city called The Ark, a city that is surrounded with water and somehow called a floating city. The Ark is a city that is environment friendly with no contamination and renewable assets. The Ark can only support about 5,000 residents but due to unstoppable large number of refugees entering the city from all over the world, the population in the City have grown ten times higher. Due to the city's limited resources, a civil war resulted.

The developer developed a smooth movement across random terrain which lets the players navigate complex environments without sophisticated input. A player can automatically clear obstacles without having to use complicated controls just by holding down the smart button. On brink there are four character classes namely Medic, Engineer, Operative, and Soldier. The Medic's task is to heal teammates, revive and buffs their teammates health. While the task of the Engineer is to buff his teammates weapons, supply them with armor, plant landmines and complete the build and repair objectives. On the other hand the Operative interrogates fallen opponents and traces enemy locations. While the Soldier, throws grenades, resupplies teammates and has an objective to complete, destroy objectives by just using explosives. The players can customize their characters and buy experience points and special activities also. The players can choose what kind of abilities they are going to buy its either universal abilities or class specific. Universal abilities are abilities that can be use regardless of the class during a mission while the class specific abilities can be use only when the players are on this class.

The special visual features also is helpful for the players to tackle and handle the complex environment situation by analyzing their location. Brink  includes Valve Anti cheat and has steam works integration. While on multiplayer the servers can hold up to 16 players. The players can play competitively and cooperatively against artificial and intelligent opponents called bots. By completing every mission successfully, custom characters can be produced with the equipment bought with experience points. Brink is a massive game for all of the FPS addicts out there. But I think brink is expensive to purchase because it's just released recently, on the other hand with the help of other  free game downloads on some sites, im looking forward to download and play this game.

Diablo III: Welcome to the Sanctuary of Darkness | Latest Games

Diablo III is an action dark fantasy role playing game developed by Blizzard. Diablo III is the third installment of the Diablo sequel. Diablo III features elements of slashing and dungeon quests. This game was first announced at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in Paris, France last June 28, 2008. The dark fantasy world of Diablo series takes place in a world called sanctuary. This sanctuary was saved by handful unnamed heroes for twenty years before in Diablo II. Now it's up to the new generation heroes to face the forces of evil opponents that threatens the world of Sanctuary. There are a lot of opportunity the players can explore such as Tristam.

Diablo III have the similarity in style from it's previous version Diablo II. The game features destructible environments with an, in-game damage effect. DirecX 10 will not be required for this version of Diablo because the developers are aiming to make the game run on a wide range of systems. The developers used Custom 3D engine for Diablo III to present an overhead view to the players. In ways such as crawling up the side of a wall from the depths into the combat area utilized the 3D environment for the enemies as well.

Just like Diablo II, multiplayer games is possible by using Blizzard's Battle.net service. It's just one of the new many features here in Diablo III, that service is developed in Starcraft II also. You can play with other players and be able to drop in, and drop out from game sessions. The game also features enhanced game system, random encounter generator, random level generator in order to provide the players much greater experience when it is replayed. Both static and randomly generated levels will be included in the game also. In addition from these features, you can go along with the main storyline quests through class-specific quests. Blizzard decided to divert the gameplay rather than have it in-game cut scenes.

There are new armor pieces that will be available in the game also : arm-guards, arm leggings and shoulder plates. Unlike the previous versions, you can pick up the gold by just touching it rather than picking it up manually. The sidekicks are now cooler unlike Diablo II, but these sidekicks will only be available while your on single player mode. These new features are intended to speed up the gameplay. Skill Runes is another new feature where you can modify your items that are dropped by monsters and used across all classes. Although this is quite similar to Diablo II, they can be attached to skills even though they are just items. The result will be your each skill is changing completely. The skill runes also have the ability to make one specific spell in each class more powerful, giving the player options on how it affects a particular spell. I'm quite excited for this game and im sure it's going to be a lot more of hell while playing it. Watch out for it's official release.

Point Blank is a Pure Blast | Latest Games

Point Blank is the number one FPS game played in Indonesia, Thailand and also Russia. And just recently, this game was released by e-Games here in
the Philippines. This game was developed by Zepetto and it was released in South Korea last 2008, Thailand and Russia last 2009. If you're familiarized with Counter-Strike, I'm sure you are aware of this game already. Point Blank is an online first person shooter game which has the similarity in terms of gameplay with Counter-Strike. In Point Blank there are 2 team selections the players can select, its either the Rebels or CT-Force team. Just like in  Counter-Strike, the rebels are the (Terrorist Forces) while the CT-Force team are the (Counter-Terrorists). Each team are required to complete their objective or mission and eliminate their opposing team. There are four different character models to choose with, but you have to select only one character. You can also buy skins for your character, outfits, and also accessories to make it a lot more cooler.

Before the round begins and before your character respawns, you are allowed to change your weapon or equipment. The game points in PB are awarded if you made an head shot, killed an enemy, or won a round, etc. What makes PB one of the top Fps and unique game is that PB has exciting game features. The game has a wide range of maps, cool array of weapons, and interactive environments. It also allow the players
earn skills through level progression and use of weapons. Point Blank is a game that focuses on the skill of the players. Players who are fun of playing FPS games before will really love this game because of its fast gameplay and intense battles. Unlike any other online fps games, you are allowed to fly helicopter on Point Blank and use it against your opponents. But well of course you're opponents can shoot you also with
rocket propelled grenades. You can customize your cross hair, depending on you if what cross hair you prefer to choose.

The 5 game modes in Point Blank are Deathmatch, Bomb Mission, Destroy, Eliminate, and lastly AI challenge. There are also 24 maps through the game, each maps are interactive and fun for the players to play with. The team that reaches the total number of kills first, wins on Deathmatch game mode. While on the bomb mission mode, the red team must attempt to plant and detonate the bomb in the bomb site, or they must kill all the players in the blue team in order to win. Blue team is responsible to defend the objective and kill all the red bombers, blue team also wins if they can defuse the bomb in the bombsite. In Destroy mode one team must destroy the objective target in the enemy's area while defending their target. If the objective is destroyed before the time limit runs down, the team that scored the most on their opponent's objective wins this mode. On the other hand eliminate mode have only one objective, you have to eliminate the opposing team! If you want to practice, AI challenge is a mode in which one up to four players will have a practice game with the bots or AI opponents. But the bots difficulty can be set from easy to expert, it's up to you if what difficulty fits your skills. Point Blank is surely one of those games that will make you extend your time till the last hour in the computer shop... A confession from an addict Fps gamer before! :)

GTA (Grand Theft Auto) after the release of the mega- hit "Vice City", Rockstar Games presents us their last chapter in the Grand Theft Auto book, "San Andreas". The latest sales numbers have passed $300 million, and the title has set records in the UK for the fastest selling video game title. In addition to this, according to NPDFunworldSM data, San Andreas was the top selling Playstation 2 title in the United States in October and November 2004.

The story goes like this.. Five years ago Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas. A city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs and corruption. His mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster.
On his return to his homeland, a couple of corrupt cops frame him to kill. Cj is forced on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas to save his family and to take control of the streets. On the player side this game pushes you to create a chaos over the streets. This game also portrays the life a real gangster. In this game your character is not a protagonist instead he is an antagonist taking his revenge for the people who made his life miserable. This game expresses the theme of being rebellious. Assassin's Creed: Assassinate every Enemy | Latest Games

Assassin's Creed features one of the most unique game ever created. It's beautiful, action packed, and alive. It also has astonishing visual effects. But it's more than just a game, it's an exciting action game with lot's of cool stuffs to do and places to explore. It also has a complex story that will make you crave to play it for more. Nevertheless, if you don't mind buying and plugging in a gamepad,  then you have a system that exceeds the system requirements, you'll surely enjoy playing this game, it feels like Assassin's Creed is bringing you into another world that console players enjoyed before.

You'll explore three major cities of the Holy Land in the 12th century: Jerusalem, Damascus, and Acre. Each city is beautiful from top to bottom and features nice and tall towers, bustling market squares, and quiet corners where citizens lie in wait to accost you. If your going to climb on a rooftop, you'll see women carrying jars on their heads, some protestants shout political and religious wisdom, and watch town guards harass innocent victims.

The cities are absolutely huge, and though you don't get full exploration privileges in the first few chapters,
they eventually open up to let you travel from one side to another. Almost everything casts a shadow, from tall pillars to Altair's cloak. In fact, sometimes the shadows get to be a bit much and it may make you think for a moment that there is something disturbing on your screen,  when in fact it's a character's head casting a shadow on his or her own neck. Animations are almost equally well done. But some minor characters move with less effort, but that's easy to understand, considering that the cities are populated with thousands and thousands of individuals.

If your Pc is a high powered pc and have some awesome specs, the effects of Assassin's Creed is better than you play it on Xbox-360 and PS-3. But even though it has high end graphics and massive visuals, the system requirements of this game is also high. If you play it on a typical Pc it's definitely slow or it may hang-up usually. To enjoy this game a lot even more, upgrade your pc and make it exceed to the game's system requirements.

What you read is even more impressive when you try to play this game. Of course, it would be meaningless without a lot of fun things to do in it. Thankfully, Assassin's Creed is endlessly entertaining that it features an exciting exploration and epic combat battle. To discover where are your assassination targets, you must first follow up on possible leads. There are several different mission types in this regard. You have to follow someone carrying an important letter that you'll pickpocket. Alternately, you can get the information out of your target. There are also some tasks specific to this version of the game. Since the game's greatest strengths lie in its unscripted events. I know you'll enjoy playing this awesome game.

Hints For Devil May Cry 4 | Latest Games

 

On Devil May Cry 4, the style is complicated and unique. You will encounter a number of secret missions scattered anywhere, and there's no doubt that you'll find them to be one of  the most challenging part of the game. In some cases, you have to execute a certain move a set number of times in a row, or dispatch every demon within the allotted time. Although those missions are challenging, others require you to have purchased a particular move before you can manage it.

If at first it seems that some of these missions are simply unbeatable, If your tired of playing those missions again and again, have faith and return to it later. There's a good chance that you were just simply missing a piece of the puzzle. You aren't required to do these missions, but the orb fragment that you earn is a perfectly fine reward, and accomplishing these difficult tasks is incredibly a great feeling.

I'll give you some hints but note that ar their name suggests, hints are not exactly Devil May Cry 4 cheats, and are usually just simple but somehow very useful tips on how you can unlock secret level features, and help you find hidden areas. Plug in your gamepad and prepare yourself for another demon slaying experience.

This version of Devil May Cry is very interesting because, there's a new character with some terrific new moves, he is no other than "Nero". Devil May Cry 4 has beautiful visuals and incredible cut scenes that will definitely amaze the players. Boss characters are designed very well and challenging to fight. There are a couple of fun modes that are exclusive for the PC version only.

The Bad side is you need a gamepad. Environments and boss fights are repeated if you can't defeat the boss character or complete the level. And puzzles and platforming aren't much fun. If you play Devil May Cry 4 on your PC, you should expect all of the same visceral carnage featured in the console versions, but you really need a gamepad. If you're a eager for punishment, you can try using the game's keyboard control scheme, but it's awkward and frustrating. However, assuming that you have a decent controller, you'll find that this excellent sequel is Capcom's finest PC release in years.

It's a challenging experience, though its smoother difficulty curve makes it far more accessible than Devil May Cry 3. In this scenario, you're given an excellent number of gameplay choices that help you finish the challenge to your preferences. You can initially choose one of two difficulties and you can even choose whether you want the game to perform some combos for you automatically. No, it's not awkward to find Devil May Cry 4 to be excessively tough on your first play-through, although it is no walk in the park, either. Nevertheless, it is generally excessive, and that isn't a bad thing. Stylish action, terrific boss fights, and beautiful, melodramatic cut scenes will inspire you to push forward, and they serve as an appropriate reward for a well-played sequence of demon slaying.

Dante's back, and he's badder than ever. It isn't surprising that a game featuring the charmingly insane Dante would be so over the top. Though the series famed antihero is not the real star this time around. Don't worry; you'll still get to play as Dante, and he brings with him a good selection of weapons and fighting styles, just as Devil May Cry fans would expect. But you'll spend the majority of the game as newcomer Nero, who has a selection of impressive and elegant moves of his own. Nero is an excellent character, capable of delivering a few wisecracks, a brooding glance, and a heartfelt plea of love to his beloved Kyrie in a few moments' time. He's clearly cut from the same cloth as Dante, and it's a bit disappointing that the game doesn't explore this connection in more detail. Regardless, you'll want to follow Nero's exploits as he struggles to learn the truth about his own religious organization, The Order of the Sword, and Dante's apparent murder of its leader.

Nero's claim to fame is his demonic arm, better known as the devil bringer. With it, you can grab on to distant enemies and pull them in, pick them up, and slam them around for some excellent combos, plus deliver a few other surprises. These mechanics are easy to pull off, and they represent a general shift from the defensive gameplay of Devil May Cry 3 to a more aggressive approach. As you play, you can pull off some incredibly satisfying moves, both in the air and on the ground, and the most violent of these are accompanied by slick, bloody animations and appropriately gory-sounding thwacks and slashes. Timing these various moves can be tricky, but like in the previous games, eventually the subtleties of your combos will click, and in time you'll be pulling enemies toward you, slashing them into bite-size pieces, and smashing them into one another with glee.
